Kody finished all of his chemo and radiation during the month of April. He most recently (July) had his first post treatment MRI and everything looks great! Kody is enjoying his summer and looking forward to starting Kindergarten in the fall. Congratulations Kody on a couragous year and thank you for all of your inspiration!! Please continue to pray for Kody and all of those children diagnosed with cancer.

Kody’s first MRI results have come back and it is great news. They are clear of any residual tumor! Yeh! He has entered the hospital for his first of 7 rounds of chemo. Pray for him to do well and come home on soon. What a trooper and an inspiration! Thank you again for all of your well wishes and prayers.

What a huge success the October 28th benefit was!! We estimated over 500 people came and we raised $30,000. It was so much fun with the entire Kuechenberg family in attendance, the DJ, and the balloon maker for the kids. Thank you so much to Villa Cesare, Jack, and everyone who donated all of their time and efforts. There are too many to list, but thank you to each and every one of you!!! October 28th, 2007
Kody has finished his 6 weeks of chemo and radiation. He is now recovering and doing great!! He will now recover for 28 days and then go in at the end of November for his 3 day stay at Children’s Hospital. He will go in the weekend after Thanksgiving. He does have an MRI scheduled for that weekend as well, so we will know for sure that the tumor is gone and then the rest of the treatment will be precautionary. Thank you again for all your prayers!

What a trooper Kody has been. He only has 6 days left of the grueling radiation and chemotherapy. He is doing so well it is hard to remember he is sick. He is such an inspiration because he NEVER complains about his treatment. He will have 1 month off and then begin his chemotherapy, which will be much stronger than what he has now. He will also have and MRI at the end of November to see if the tumor is gone-keep praying.
Also-don’t forget to get your tickets for the October 28th benefit!! There are so many great items that have been donated and will be raffled off-some include a 32″ plasma TV, snowblower, Weber Grill, a Disney Trip, Bears Tickets, Notre Dame Tickets, and Bulls Tickets!!! Thank you to everyone who so graciously donated!!!!

Thank you to all who came out to help show your love and support to Kody and his family. It was a fun-filled day with lots of ice skating! THANK YOU SO MUCH MIDWEST TRAINING CENTER for donating the entire Ice Time to us!!! Please check the picture page for pictures of the event. We were able to raise $3,000.00 for Kody!! Kody has completed 4 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. He has only 2 more to go!!! Please continue to pray for him. He is doing great and is very happy and full of energy. He really is such a trooper and the model patient. Most adults could not handle what he has had to endure. All of your prayers are so appreciated-thank you very much! Keep him in your thoughts as he nears the end the first leg of his treatment.

Kody has completed 3 weeks of therapy and is in the last half of his 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. Tune into 1230 am on 10/2/07 at 7:30 am to hear about Kody’s benefits. There will also be a story in the Post Tribune on 10/3/07 and one also in The Times. He is doing really well and was able to take a trip to the County Line Orchard this past weekend! Please keep him in your prayers!

Thank you for all the prayers, love and support you have given our family over these very difficult weeks. We truly appreciate all the thoughtfulness you have showed and shared with us. The meals, monetary donations, and help with day-to-day responsibilities has allowed us to focus on Kody.
We continue to depend on your prayers as we move forward with Kody’s treatment. We are so blessed to have our family surrounded by this great strength of prayer and know that we will pull from the strength of your prayers and love as we move forward.
